Parada Równości in Warsaw is the largest equality event in Central- and Eastern Europe. The 2015 parade was held on the 13th of June. The EEA and Norway Grants were the Gold Sponsor. Poland is the largest beneficiary of these Norwegian grants (over 1.1 bn Euro since 2004). The parade, which has a broad agenda covering all minorities, received support from 33 Ambassadors in an open letter coordinated by the Embassy of France, and read out by Swedish Ambassador Staffan Herrström. Several politicians (incl. Equality Minster Malgorzata Fuszara), Ambassadors, diplomats and Norway's Equality and Discrimination Ombud joined the parade. Thousands braved the hot summer day and made their way to the city centre. The march went peacefully and was a great success, showing a very positive trend over the past years.
