This video is about how I combated unwanted weeds and grasses in and around our vegetable garden pathways. Personally, I do find that if your garden is dominated by excessive weeds requiring too much manual work the whole gardening experience can be tainted. Yes, most people understand that pulling weeds is part of gardening but pulling them all day every day gets downright depressing and that's why I took the action I did to solve our weed and grass problem! Enjoy :)

Self Sufficient Me is based on our small 3-acre property/homestead in SE Queensland Australia about 45kms north of Brisbane - the climate is subtropical (similar to Florida). I started SSM in 2011 as a blog website project where I document and write about backyard food growing, self-sufficiency, and urban farming in general. I love sharing my foodie and DIY adventures online so come along with me and let's get into it! Cheers, Mark :)
